Pretty Things

Some pretty things collected from pretty days to make this
Monday morning flow a bit easier.

***************************************************

I was once at my New Jersey beach and was fascinated to see it overflowing with French Canadian tourists who took such pleasure in those rolling waves. These people traveled well over half a day to be apart of the beach that I live so near - the beach I can walk to, the beach I can hear from my kitchen window. It was a reminder, one I brought close to my heart - this life is so easy to take for granted. When I am feeling the most ungrateful, I will think on days like those.

Some recent gratitude felt:

waking to a cold breeze flowing from the opened windows / the last bit of iced tea
time spent with my honey / a made bed / the kitchen sink being empty of dishes
white pumpkins / pumpkin scented candles / comfortable clothes / leftovers
our teeny tiny apartment teaching me to not hold onto too much stuff
updates from my favorite bloggers / a warm robe / no need to turn the heat on (yet)
a bit of orange and red on the leaves / our budget keeping me honest
easy access to water / hot showers / good intentions / slow mornings

What have you felt grateful for recently?

Gratefully yours, Kaylin

Lately, I have felt grateful for friends that live within walking distance.

The cold breeze through an open window sounds delightful!

That sounds great Lindsay, I would love to have more friends that lived within walking distance. I bet Hawaii is beautiful right now. Xo.

I feel grateful for the many blessings in my life. The one that comes to mind right now is my gratitude to Max(ine) the cat who just knows and takes gentle care of me when I need it.

I enjoyed your gratitude posts. Thank you for sharing.

Delicia, thank you so much for sharing. I love what you said about Maxine, it's amazing how the world works to give us just what we need when we need it. I hope all continues to be well. Xo.
